In a world of shadows and darkness, a vampire with an anxiety disorder struggles to find his place in the limbo of his life. Through an introspective and emotional journey, he discovers that his thirst for blood is only a metaphor for his thirst for connection and understanding. A concert about the unwanted. Oprobio is a dance-theater work in the format of a staged concert, inspired by altered states of consciousness that emerge from anxiety disorder, as well as by texts such as “Una costilla sobre la mesa” by Angélica Liddell and “The Umbilicus of Limbo” by Antonin Artaud. The piece develops a corporeal language in dialogue with live-executed music, creating an immersive and emotionally charged atmosphere.
